I just watched the extended version. Damn, I'm back in the mood for some LOTR, can't wait for Return of the King!
But now to my question. In this extended version theres a scene where the princess asks Aragorn his age. And he replies hes 87. That hes one of the few of a spcial kind where they have extended life. WTF?
I don't remember that in the book at all. Was it in the book? Or did they just add that in?
If its added in, what the hell? At least the other parts where they changed it or added something possibly made it more dramatic, but this?
