I want to get a new foundation and I have no idea where to start.
I've used various powers in the past but I have real oily skin and after a few hours it is an oil slick. Would liquid work better? Or if you have any suggestions on what to try...

Any information is appreciated! Thanks!

I don't generally wear makeup, but I've got a bottle of Covergirl True Blend, and that works pretty well, I think. But I'm no expert. :p

Please tell me more about these various powers, I am intrigued.

:p Neutrogena and the other is Bed Head

I'm not sure if that's a sarcastic response to my sarcasm or if you just didn't see it at all.

My girls use a hybrid base of cyrtolin/listan 2/3.

You might want to try it-it won't liquify even when they're on the poll.

you ever try the combo powder/foundation? i used to use that with clinique and that was pretty decent, but my skin isn't very oily.

talk to someone at the counters, they should be able to help, even if you don't buy anything.

was at Costco over the weekend and a rep was giving out freebies (foundation, lipstick, lipgloss, blush, eyeshadow) to their Kirkland version of Borghese.

Try a liquid/powder combo, do you have combination skin and is it oily all over or just in the t-zone?

I don't use any sort of foundation/powder myself, and blot any oil off my nose with tissue or toilet paper. Apparently those toilet paper seat covers work better than some of the brand name blotter pads!

I just started using maybelline pure make-up, it is 50% water. I have noticed a difference, my face does not get shiny, and it is ver lightweight

Two words: Bare Minerals!
No joke. It is somewhat pricy for the starter kit, but it is amazing.
Also, i used to use Almay's continuous coverage foundatation that lasted for 16 hours with out rubbing off, etc but then they stopped making it.... so i found Revlons continous wear foundation and that is even better. I try to not wear tons of makeup with oily skin like i have too, but i have found that putting an oil free moisturizer on then a makeup primer (try Laura Geller's) then the foundatation (whether powder or liquid) it stays longer and is not shiny!
Good luck!
PS.. i love makeup so PM me if you wanna chat!

It must be hell removing it at the end of a long day!!! :p
