I first learned how to throw axes and knives at a Fort near me that has reenactors. I wanted to start throwing knives on my own for fun. I learned that knives that weigh ~200 grams are best for throwing. I guess this might get me into collecting knives, but for now, I want to get a god collection of throwing knives. Also, I might want to get throwing stars, or other related things. What do you suggest? Thanks!

Knives, yes. Throwing knives are a bit more obscure and less useful on a daily basis. ;)

Sorry man, free bump for you.

Can't you use all knives for throwing?

I suppose you could, but I'd think it's best to use throwing knives.

Especially since you could damage your knife and throwing knives are usually pretty cheap (~$5 apiece, but sold in multiples usually)

sure you can. but it does not mean they are good for it. many are not balanced or made for throwing.
