I got some left over money for X-Mas and I need a new putter. I was looking at the Ping Craz-E G5i Center Shaft Does anyone have experience with this putter>

I'm trying out for the Golf Team in August and I have to have time to get used to it this summer so I want to purchase it soon.

Please don't flame me about how this is a Hardware forum but this is the Off Topic. Also please don't mention the "How Fair is This" Thread.

i test drove the Crazy-E last year and i liked it. i don't know the actual improvments in the new G5 series. i actually was going to purchase it along with a whole set of pings b4 i got my new job (too bad moving and getting started in a new state is so expensive right out of college).

honestly go to golfsmith or golf galaxy and give it a whirl (i know they have demo units there). you may also want to try a pro shop @ a driving range or course (they may also let you demo)

Very nice putter. my friend has one and i tried it out. soft feel, nice roll. also the grip is very soft and comfortable. but i still went with the Guir and Rife 2 Bar.

all my golf gear sucks. that putter looks decent, i'd like to give it a try but i'll never stray from my trusty Wilson Harmonized! 😛

I prefer a mallet head putter after getting my scotty cameron futura putter a couple years ago. I love it. I'm sure this is a decent putter. Seems like it would similar to putting with the oddessey 2 ball. Wish I could offer more assistance.
