LLC is US? I thought the standard in the US was Ltd.

UK it is PLC.

Best answer (from jalaram): Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (limited liability company), the most common German corporation structure.

Typically written, GmbH (first and last letters are capitalized as they are nouns, middle two letters are not since they are adjectives)

Heh. Reason I ask is because some body in the company had an "I net charge GmbH, Berlin, Germany" for over $2200 on their credit card.

Trying to figure out WTF it could be for. There's no phone number or any other info associated with it.
