Calling All FPS PC Gamers!

I have the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0a and I am good but not as good as I want to be. I find people executing head shots far more frequent then me in games like Counter Strike Source. I don't have the microsoft software installed for a fear of unneccassary over head.

AMD Athlon 2ghz
Nvidia 6800
1.5 GB of ram
120gb sata hd
Dell 2001FP 20" LCD Monitor

MX510, MX518 wasnt worth the extra money for the extra features for me.

Normally I would go on about how nice my Razer Viper and Diamondback are. But usually some asswipe will come in and talk about how much the resolution sucks and it has fewer pixel processesors and less megaflops or some other stupid sh!t. Then I get mad and call him a bitch and he cries and the mods send me hate mail and my life sucks.

i have an mx1000, took me a while to get used to but i got it. i also have some settings i like.

mx300 is really all you need. I dont need more buttons on my mouse personally. I just need the sensitivity that the mx300 has. Hmm where do you get a reg edit to negate mouse accel?

I have a question for all you Logitech MX5-series users.

I currently use the Evoluent "vertical mouse" because I used to get terrible pains in my forearm from too much mousing. It's not bad. It has pretty good resolution and it is certainly comfortable, but I wonder if there might be better out there.

How ergonomic is, say, the MX510, in your opinions? It looks pretty well-contoured, but still it looks too flat for my liking. I also have really big hands, so I doubt the countours would really fit my palm, anyway.

Thoughts?

Unless the mouse is bundled with free "suck-be-gone"... I don't think it's worth the money.
