Hey guys! I recently auctioned off a laptop and I'm about to send it. What precautions should I take in order to show that I sent a fully functional and working machine? After reading many horror stories, I do not want anything to go wrong with this transaction. Please list items that I should do. Thank you in advance.

Video tape showing booting up and working just fine? Get it certified? Take pictures? Check all configuration?

write down all the serial numbers

take photos of it.

if you can make a lil mark somewhere only you'll notice.

something like inside the battery cover and photo it so he can't switch it.

Insure the shipment.
If you think you have enough peanut packing material, add some more. Shock absorbtion and crucshing are your enemies.
Good luck....

Make sure it's packed properly. If you don't have the original packaging then this is especially important.
