Calling all COOKs! PLEASE inquire within!

I'm looking for either a 10 or 12" nonstick pan.

I picked up a 8" SS All-Clad frying pan today. I know I know, I'm a newbie, and I tried to fry some eggs in it and got them all stuck.

I want nonstick just mainly for eggs. Please help me out.

I was looking at Emerilware's 10" nonstick skillet. The pan itself has got nothing but rave reviews at Amazon.com however almost every site that stocks the pan, is out of stock!

Are the Emerilware line of nonstick pans that damn good?

What about All-Clad's LTD nonstick line? Are they any good? Please advise!

Z4010 10" 7 5/8" 2" $27.70
That is a hell of a pan for cooking eggs.
I have the 8" one and after 5 years with many roomates using it with metal utensals, there are 3 little spot where the coating is gone.
I wish that did not happen, but that is the toughest non-stick finish and the best price.
Those pans sell on ebay for $40

Can you actually fry eggs without oil on those?

Yes.
But, if you have someone spend the night, make him/her an omlet with a touch of truffle oil in the morning.

Also, if you don't get exactly those pans, look at how it is angled on the sides.
That will make ALL the difference when you need to flip things. A pan with that kind of near 45º hard angle like that will let you flip soup with ease if you so desire. Pans that smoothly curve upwards are much more difficult in this regard. I have something to ask now, but will make another thread instead of hijacking.

Not non stick, but a good pan:

If I have a woman spending the night here, the last thing I am going to be doing is cooking eggs. 😛

I'll just take her out to breakfast.
