E30 M3 Racecar

330 hp from a 4cylinder 2.5 liter. 2200 lbs weight.
Power to weight ratio of .15 hp / pound.

Viper has .13 hp / pound. (450 hp, 3440 lbs)
Corvette has .123 hp / pound (385 hp, 3115 lbs)

Damn, I love racecars. :)

(although I can feel some flames coming) :p

yeah, yeah, I know Viper makes racing version too. bla bla bla. Still this is an impressive car.

Although it is a race prepped version, you can get the new Euro version M3 that's legal in the US from BMW in the upcoming months. Read the newest issue of C&D - 333 hp, blazes the 1/4 mile in under 14, and can outhandle anything in it's class. Not to mention it'll cost I think around $50k

The latest M3 carries a gross weight of 3400 lbs.
This baby only has 2200 lbs to carry.

The $15k you save can make up for that though :D

That is a nice car though. Not too fond of the confetti paint job though :p
