Calling all Antec Nine Hundred owners...

For my next build I really have my eye set on picking up this case. The PSU I plan to use with it is modular and one of the cons people have been saying about it are that the cables are short (700w OCZ ModXStream). Based on where they make you put the PSU in the Nine Hundred, I'm worried about how well these two will play together.

Does anyone have a setup similar to this or can attest to the problem I'm speaking of? At worst can I just bypass the cable management system and run the wires over my PCI cards to get to my HDDs, optical drives, etc. if they're not long enough?

Also, I plan on running 2 HD4890s in CrossFire eventually, is there any space issues with long cards like these? And for people with many HDDs in theirs is there a placement conflict when mounted across from such long video cards? Just want to cover all my bases and plan ahead before I make an investment on something that would be a bitch to send back.

Thanks.

There may be some space issues with the GPu. I have one 8800gt and its pressing basically right up against the front fan mount. You may need to remove it if the card wont fit. It has kind of hard for me to get the 4 pin connectors in there with that pressing right up there. Everything else shoudl be okay, you can tuck extra cable away in the extra HD cage space. The optical and HD are screw mounted which kinda is a pain..but its nothing bad..I prefer those plastic slide in pieces my old case had. Great airflow though, keeps my cpu at like 40C under 100% load.

Thanks for the info, I plan on OC'ing a lot so air flow/temperature is going to be important in this build otherwise I wouldn't invest as much in a case like this, so I'm glad to see you only get around 40C under load. How many HDDs do you think I could fit in there with 2 GPUs? I was planning to run a Raptor or SSD as the boot and then a RAID0 array for my games, but if I can't fit 3 in there I'd be fine with skipping the RAID and just going with a 1TB drive or something. Any thoughts?

You can fit up to liek 4-5 HDDs I forget how many exactly. You shud be fine fitting two gpu's in there. However, it gets to be pretty cramped if you dont mod your cables..and using IDe cables takes up a ton of space if you have any. Recommend using zip ties and whatnot to keep many of the unused wires along the bottom/top. Overall, its very spacious and keeps things really cool on air.
