Called out sick and now I'm babysitting

I threw up all morning long on Sunday morning and needed all the sleep I could get so I called out this morning from work. well, the fiance went to a graduation and I'm babysitting some 5 y/o girl. she was supposed to stay with my mother-in-law, but she also went to the graduation, so I got stuck babysitting this little girl. She's killing me, talking to me every moment as I surf the web.

She's kinda cute, but I dont know what I'll do when I have one of my own! 🙂
 
Get used to it if you want a child! Congrats on the engagement btw, and make sure you enjoy years of marriage BEFORE having a child 🙂 They're cool, but they definitely kill a piece of the 2-person relationship.

I had her draw a diagram of her house, both outside and inside (more like a blueprint). LOL She finally got tired and watched tv.
 
You can keep a five year old busy for awhile if you tell her to "go count how many books are on that table" then "go count how many cups are in the dishwasher" etc, then "run back and forth from the sofa in the living room to the dresser in the bedroom four times FAST!".... Eventually she'll wear out and take a nap.
