yes, but $29.99 seems steep for 10 new Single Player missions and a bunch of new Multiplayer maps which I could care less about.
I loved the original COD single player though.

I'm a huge COD multiplayer fan, but I'll probably wait for the reviews before picking this one up. As much as I love COD, unless this one adds significant features, I'll wait until it's on sale.

I never really got into the MP. I used to be a huge MOH MP addict, but since playing Battlefield 1942, I can't seem to go back to a game that doesn't let you fly planes and drive tanks. I just got bored with COD mp games.

I loved going through the single player missions in COD though.

buy it. i can seriously say COD is one of the best games i have ever played. the multiplayer is about as fun as it gets

I just CoD from the used bin at EB. The damned SecureDisk copy-protection kept asking me for the disk #1 when the darn thing was already in there. Didn't work on my three CD/DVD drives. I had to go elsewhere for a CD crack to play the game. I've gotten as far as the British scenario where they have to guard the bridge against 4 tanks and a buttload of german infantry. (I'm still getting whacked after the third tank.)

It's a good game with really good graphics. However, the sound keeps on defaulting to the 2D sound instead of the EAX which I have. Maybe the new Dell will get these settings properly.


Question: what alternate key/mouse do you bind to "looking down the barrel/scope"? I have it bound the nipple on my IBM mouse but it is very unwieldy.

Yeah, I really enjoyed playing on your AT COD server, and it's a shame that no one else played on it. The server was marked as one of my favorites, but no one was ever on it.

What servers do you mainly play on now? I'm a big fan of rifles-only servers, and that's pretty much what I've played lately.

We need to get together and play sometime. I'd love to get together with a bunch of AT'ers for some team deatchmatch.

Personally, I use the right mouse button to raise and lower the sight. Since there's not a lot of quick weapon switching in MP, I just use the 1 thru 4 keys (or mousewheel) for weapon switching.

I loved the original COD single player though.

Picked my copy up last night at BestBuy. They have it (as well as the original) on sale for $24.99. CoD is by far one of the best games I've ever played, and still play the heck out of it in multiplayer. Didn't get a chance to mess with UO much last night, but I can already tell the vehicle battles in multiplayer will rock. I know what I'll be doing all weekend.

That's the problem w/ COD. you need lots of ppl for the MP to be fun. BF1942 is fun even at 4 person mini-lans. My brother-in-laws and I get together and play COD MP sometimes, it's more like hunting, you just wander around and hope you see the other guy first.
