How the heck do you get across the Volga? Everytime I'm just stuck in this stupid boat, and the german's mow me over from across the river... Am I missing something?

BTW, this game is amazing!

Are you talking about the beginning of the Russian Campaign? When the planes strafe the boat, you need to crouch and hide like everyone else in the boat...you get hit a few times, but normally survive.

Speaking of this stuff, anyone else notice that the whole russian section of the game is basically the movie Enemy at the Gates?

That's cool, cause Enemy at the Gates was a good movie.

Except of course for the tank battle and the capture of the reichstag, yeah. Kinda odd that way.

I don't see what is so special about Call of Duty... it is exactly like MOHAA except you can look down the rifle for better realism and accuracy.

Well, they threw the tank battle in because doing FPS sex with a really dirty female sniper is kinda hard to code.

That's great. :)

I found out my problem was that I was hiting the "prone" key, instead of the "crouch" one, that's why it never worked for me.

as an update: I just finished the game... I don't think I'll bother replaying it on a harder level though... Stupid linear story line.

I feel stupid for asking this, but how the hell do you get into the "secret communications room" in the American POW mission? I just can't seem to figure out why I can get so close, but not right in. To answer screw3d, the closest the compass leads me, is a closed door.

My feelings exactly. I played both demos and just couldn't shake off "been there done that" feeling.

Can't really remember where is that, but I remembered getting to all my objectives by just following the compass.
