Call of Duty review in IGN

I dont know I had problems with it crashing on my Radeon 64 DDR and on my new 9600pro too. They mention that they heard about problems but were uneble to confirm them.

EDIT
I want to mention I had problems with the DEMO crashing, not the full game so maybe its just a problem with the demo.

I just noticed the 2nd demo has been released on the internet. It used to be exclusive in some magazine but now you can get it from various places. Ausgamers.com is a good choice if you dont want to register an account or wait in line.

One of the interesting parts of all of the multiplayer modes is the Killcam. When you're killed in a game, the Killcam will actually let you look through your killer's eyes for the few seconds before that person killed you. You'll be able to see where you are thanks to a big white arrow hanging over your position in order to see how your enemy snuck up on you, or sniped you, or just owned you in general. I really like this addition; especially it's implications in keeping camping to a minimum.

Not sure I like that. I mean sure, I like most everyone, have typed in 'WHERE???" after being shot in MOH, and at that moment I'd really like to know just where the guy was. On the other hand if you spend the night looking for a great sniping position, and find one, it's only good once. I'm mostly a 'run around and shoot whoever I find' kind of player so it shouldn't hurt my gameplay...guess I'll see how it works out, might completely support the feature after I see it in use.

Yeah, the first demo was really nice.
Felt very much like MOH with better graphics and better AI.
I'm pretty sure I'll be getting this one. Not sure how the MP will be though.

If you are a sniper, that kill cam sucks.
If you get sniped a lot, you'll probably love it.

BF 1942 has a death cam that shows you where the guy is that just killed you. It's a server setting that can be turned off or on.
I prefer it to be off. Stealth is the one advantage a sniper has. I don't think it's right that you should know where a guy is if you can't see him. One of the challenges is trying to figure out where he is. Just like it would be in reality. With the death cam on, any time I get sniped, I sneak up behind the guy and knife him in the back. Fun, but not really fair.

I'm really looking forward to MOH: Pacific Assault.
Anyone know when that is coming out?
I know it's not until sometime next year.

Also anxiously awaiting BF: Vietnam.

Multiplayer is weak. No co-op missions.
I can't stand co-op anyway.
If I want to play against computer opponents, I'll just play SP.
I prefer team deathmatch, conquest, or objective modes.

I don't. Those are un-playable on a LAN with 5 people.

Depends on the game.
Nothing wrong with 2 vs 3 in some games.
