It's the early level going across field with cows right? Skip that level then rest should be fine. Don't know the fix if that's it. Check rage3d forums got a long thread one the subject. Just search call of duty

try going to the drivers SMARTGART tab.
Turn off fastwrites then reboot. Worked for me. I had not this problem with COD but with the Revolt mod for it I did.

Catalyst 4.x are notoriously unstable for Call of Duty. I have the same problem and Catalyst 3.10 fixed it.

HRmm. I've never had any kind of crashing problems w/ CoD.

But if I get an IM, or anything pops up in the background while the game is running, the game starts to flash, mainly structures and backgrounds, but players don't flash, so you can see them all over the map, through walls. It flashes like that for about 6 seconds, then when it stops, the screen is VERY dark. You ahve to go back to the main menu to graphic options and just touch the Brightness slider, which makes it fine.

Wierd bug though, it's followed me through numerous cats.

The game sucks, I think the problem is a sign that its time to find a new game.

I've been playing Half Life 2 for a couple days now, it's much better.

yeah it is jus that early level................no VPU errors now but some wierd texturing when, u die or when a explosion goes off in ur face....everything goes almost 256 colour and the image burns into the screen so u cant see anything till its over!¬!
