Hilarious. Anotherguy trusts them because he chats with a scam artist. Chatting makes it all legit.

Go read through the Steam COD forums about issues like this. Better yet PM the mods or email Steam Support and they will tell you how fast keys like this are banned. They will also tell you to only by from authorized Steam resellers.

I find the website very fishy as well but I was thinking if we use paypal and they decide to screw us... doesnt paypal always defend the buyer and gives us a refund if we complain?

No. Scammers know how to game the system, and you probaly won't receive anything back.

My brother bought a Russian key for MW2 for $25 a week after release. Worked for two days then he got banned.

If anybody bought this I hope you didn't use it with your main Steam account.

At what point do you just give up and admit that it's most likely a scam? Trust me, this isn't worth your time just to (hopefully) save a few bucks.

Any NEW, POPULAR game that is coming out that is advertised anywhere for unusually low prices is almost guaranteed to be a scam. If there's a special offer or deal going on, everyone will know.

i bought a game from indiguru on ebay... he imports the indian version of the game (it's in english) and resells them. installs perfectly, added it to my online account (was a bioware game) np.

but i haven't bought any more from him. i realized what he does after i did the purchase, and though i was fine installing it, it's not good karma for me to continue buying and installing more that way.

which is odd cause i have no qualms about using intl versions of textbooks. lol.

Because dead tree textbooks can't be made to stop being legible through a remote command to a server.

Hello there,

I confirm that we are located in Canada and we also have an Office In New York USA.

We only deal with legit games from Boxes, if the game is not available in retail version we do not sell it.

Steam will never Ban a legit key and if you order from us you can redeem your code in your steam account and be 100% safe. You will never get your account banned by using any of our games.

The MW3 we are selling is 100% legit and already have the english language when you download it, we also offer the full language patch if you like to have the full game in others languages like, German, Spanish, Italian and French.

I hope this can clarifies your thoughts.

One more thing very important for all, because you have get and bad experience with another seller that doesn't mean every seller are not legit. We are 100% legit and we only want is to offer good games at good prices!

My best Regards

Well, 1) you have 1 post.
2) You are speaking on your own behalf.
3) The version from the OP was Russian. Doesn't steam ban a lot of people who try to buy out of region games?

Steam will only ban a stolen key, they will never ban any original key even if you need to use a VPN to activate it, they will never ban it.

We do not try to confuse any one direct2drive is not the same name as direct2play.

Check our facebook we have more then 15 k fans. We are 100% legit and we only deal with original games as a USA and Canadian company.

be smart save more... play and enjoy

I am in America. I have a ton of steam games. I'm not risking it. I did some research. Saw a post from a Valve moderator on the forums who sent everyone to this link and said this is it, period. Basically, if you try to use a different region, it won't ban, but won't let you play. It tells you to ask for a refund. The VPN is shifty. How is latency through a VPN in Russia? Not good for shooters. Also, what happens to my 50 other games if I have this one Russian game? Do they now get denied?

Edit: DONT DO IT! Talks directly about working through Russian VPNs.

That doesnt really say anything. Once you use a Russian VPN to activate it you dont have to ever use the VPN again to play it. I bought a Russian key from CJS CD Keys and after activating it once it works perfectly fine. I only went through it after seeing how vocal the company was when it came to support and how often they gave refunds to unhappy customers. In the end, its up to you if you want to try it but it worked for me and MW3 and I can still play it.

Only thing that Im pissed about is that I wasted $30 on this piece of shit game that should of been a $15 DLC at the most (and even that might be pushing it).

Speaking of DLC, rumor is that MW3 will have TWENTY different DLC to take more money away from you. o_O
