"Call Of Duty" Demo is sweet!

Watching the AA guns stream the night sky is amazing. Stop for a second and have a look at your environment.
 
Oh, man. Played through again.

The MG-42 is the best I've ever seen in a game. Feels heavy, and it's hard to see a target with all the nozzle flash and shaking. Same with the German sniper rifle, the FG-42. I felt like Barry Pepper from Saving Private Ryan whilst sniping those Krauts.

Friggin' awesome game.
 
Very nice in all aspects except sound. They completely skimped the sound IMO. Everything sounds muffled and weak lacking the bursting explosions and loud gunfire. It failed to put me in the enviornment and just sounded half-assed. Sound is the biggest one of my big complaints with most things so :\

I agree to a point. The hand guns and machine guns sound more realistic than most WW2 games, but most explosions sound a little too muffled, and the AA fire is far too quiet. My biggest complaint with the audio stems from the weak ambient sound environment. Explosions and gunfire in the distance need to be more outstanding.

Yes, very similar, but if, like me, you're a die-hard MOHAA fan, you'll be happy to have a realistic WW2 FPS to play. The differences are subtle enough.

I felt a great difference compared to MOHAA. IMHO it is BETTER. It has everything MOHAA had and more. I absolutely love the demo. Wow, it was awesome.
