Cool,.. I might have to get it. I loved it on PC, but have never tried a COD title on the 360 yet.

If you bought the Hardened or Prestige editions of Modern Warfare 2 this is free. I sorta wish I'd picked up the Hardened but it isn't a big deal. Honeslty I wasn't a huge fan of the first CoD (really started enjoying them with 4).

Eh, $20 extra for the Hardened edition got you, what, a metal case and an early download of the game? I wouldn't call that "free." $15 for just CoD 1 is a better deal.

And Amazon's discount on the more expensive versions was less than the regular edition IIRC. $20 credit for regular, $10 for the other versions.

Of course you have to make another video game purchase to use that credit. Something like... 1600 MS points would probably qualify.

Hardened was the same (not at first, but eventually they raised it). Prestige was only $10.

I was tempted to get the Hardened edition but this game is all that really interested me so it wasn't worth the extra $20. I probably won't even end up buying this but I'll at least try the demo.

I got the hardened edition so I have had the COD Classic for a while. I am very disappointed with the game though. For some reason it is just ridiculously dark. For those that have played it before, the game starts with you doing a night jump. You can't see anything. There are no brightness/gamma options in the game at all. I personally don't want to mess with my TV settings just to play one single game.

All the talk about a HD version of the game is nothing. It looks just like it did when you played it back in the day. Slap a 720p resolution on it and call it HD.
