Call of Duty Black ops 2 Bad Graphics

Hi,

I'm using Nvidia GTX 660 Graphics card.Have been playing all latest games like Hitman obsolution,BF3,Crysis 2,ACIII etc in Full HD.The graphics quality is pretty good.But in Call of duty Black ops 2 the graphics seems to be old,as similar to counter strike games which released several years ago.Frame Rate is good and all settings have been set to high.

Just wanted to know whether the game itself have only better graphics or i need to update the Driver?

Currently im using 305.27 version.

The game is using the same engine as the first Modern Warfare (~6 years old), so it won't hold up to other modern games which are updating their engines and textures for PC users. But that doesn't mean you aren't having a problem so I suggest you post a few screenshots so we can see if that's how it always looks or if you really are seeing something worse than normal.

Is it set at the right resolution? A lot of games default to a 'safe' 1024x768 or something when you first install/play them.

Those graphics are the same as COD 4. Theres your problem.

The graphics are not the same as COD4, though it is on the same engine. I would not expect to see anything spectacular, but it looks decent when you bump textures up to extra. This is important specifically for blops 2 because at lower settings it will use lower resolution textures designed for 720p on consoles. Overall I find the game is better looking in mp than in sp.

They are a little better than cod4, not a whole lot but some.

It definitely shouldn't look grainy like the old Counter Strike games.
