Yep, COD2 and COD4 were Infinity Ward, COD3 and COD5 are Treyarch. Basically, if you skip every other COD game, you should be good.

Sounds like they've tried to learn from the mistakes that made COD3 weak. They're trying to make it gritty and intense like the first two were. This part particularly caught my eye:

Four Man Army

New to the series is the four-player co-op mode, allowing you and your friends to waltz through WAW's conflicts, dropping in and out at the beginning of levels.

Sweeeeet. More PC games need coop features!
