I am having a discussion with some friends. How long did it take you guys to finish COD4? It took me about six hours. Please post your playtime. Thanks.

Prolly around 4-5 hours. Don't exactly remember how long.

I finished it in like 2 sittings....so 4-5 hours max I think. I spent a good bit of time replaying Death From Above and the mission near the end in the barn and the tanks. At first I didn't realize there were 2 more tanks up on the hill, then I went back and replayed the mission getting more sniper rifle ammo because it was a blast killing endless spawns running through a field with a Dragonov and Air Strikes. :)

1 sitting, not sure of time, it was quick though. CoD4 made Portal feel like a full length game.

Probably around 6-7 hours. Long enough considering the quality of the game. I'd rather they give me 6-7 hours of excellence rather than padding it into 6-7 of excellence mixed with 3 hours of "oh god is this stupid mission ever going to F#@$ing end?!"

I think about 6 hours in several sittings. I played it over a month period so each time I came back I had to get back into the gist of things.

I was thinking about replaying it on a Harder setting but I just don't know if I want to go through the sniper mission with all those stupid dogs again, on Hard nonetheless.

Trying to get into the basement while the helicopter and army attack you on the field is a PITA playing on veteran. SOOOOO many men shooting at your back as you try to run from your cover down into the opened basement door.

I don't know how anyone has the patience to get through the silo on veteran with those freakin' crossfire hallways. It's so hard on the difficulty below veteran to look down one hallway without getting shot in the back by the other hallway.
