Well I just got COD4 today and it crashes all the freakin time.
It will be fine and then all of a sudden just start making some zapping sounds from the speakers and then shut down to windows. Also when I go to restart the game it says that COD4 wasn't shut down properly and asks me to start the game in safe mode. I tried that and then re-applying my settings, but the crashing still happens!
It was patched to 1.4 and later 1.5. I believe it was fine before the patch, but I only played two or three games...This also happens in single player. For example on the first level it shut down right as I got to meet the colonel for the training excersize!
I use the latest drivers from nvidia which I belive is 174.74, windows xp 32bit, and the hardware in my sig. ANY IDEAS?
