My wife bought me this game for my birthday. I played the first one, and the expansion, and really enjoyed them. It's a more scripted game than something like BF2, but really makes you feel like you are in the action.

The new one is just as much fun, and gorgeous to boot. It runs very smoothly at 1680 x 1050 on my rig (in sig). I was a little worried given that I only have a 6800GT, but it really flies with most of the settings turned up.

congrads....it's an excellent game! But DON'T rush through it! Set it on a harder difficulty and enjoy it b/c it's not very long.

i too was impressed by the load times, but i was a bit disapointed in my performance.

I have a dfi nf4 @ 2ghz with a x800 xl. I was hoping to run 60fps at 1280X1024 with all the details (no AA), but I'm not even close. I might try and OC later, but it sill probably only give me 10fps more.

I'm finding the first few missions pretty challenging, but recovery is so fast and easy in this game that it really doesn't matter how many times you get killed :). Since you can duck and heal so quickly, grenades are just about the only thing that takes me out. Sometimes I just can't get up and move fast enough. Often this is because I am mashing the key I use to stand up in BF2.

I don't know what fps I am getting, but it is smooth. You don't really need more than 30-40 fps and vsynch for a smooth experience anyway.
