I just got a call from somebody claiming to be from dell (no caller ID available)
First he asked how my new dimension purchase was working (this part is correct, I did buy a dimension)

I say fine.

Then he goes into "You have been qualified for special offline savings offers on LCD monitors, TVs, printers, projectors, etc. with prices much better than can be found on Dell.com"

Anybody else get these calls?

"I'll have to consider this for a moment. May I have your phone number, (other identifying info)?"

Then call Dell's actual line and ask them if it's legit.

Common sense: Ask for their name, extension/badge ID number and phone number. Call them back.
