Hi,

My Main HD died so I can no longer boot into the original Windows NT (SGI VERSION) that came with the computer.
I dont have the Recovery CD 1 and 2 anymore, SGI dont have these anymore :| !!!! You can't boot with a regular CD boot or DOS.
SGI 320 don't have BIOS like PC, they have PROM.
If somebody could supply this for me, it would be great.

Don't need the serial, have plenty of NT 4 retail version here.

Thanks

Surely SGI must offer support for this thing...I can't believe they'd just claim they don't have the CDs anymore. At the very least I'd think they'd offer to sell them to you. I wish I could help, but I don't have one of these machines. I wanted one when they were new though, they have a sweet case! Good luck.

If I recall, you should be able to put W2K on it fine. Just on the CD boot hit F5 (or was it F6?) and it will give you a screen that will allow you to manually select the HAL. Select the SGI Visual Workstation HAL and I think you should be up and running again. If it doesn't boot from CD, maybe you can try making the 2K boot disks.
