They are referring to San Francisco mostly. The most expensive gas I saw was in San Fran, they have a very liberal crowd there (obviously), and the post is mostly accurate.

When I went there to visit a friend, people were smoking pot on their roof. Cops were across the street and didn't care.

I must say, been in San Diego for 7 years, and I always get good parking downtown. Try parking in Other cities like New York, Chicago, or LA. You will love how easy parking in SD is.

i exaggerated a little bit. usually i just head straight to horton plaza and just buy a pretzel or a drink in the mall to get the validation.
