California students: Are you getting more/less financial aide (if any)???

Due to the recent budget crisis here in California, I thought that financial aide money would dwindle for the next coming school year. But I just got my financial aide package and it turns out I am receiving more now than before. Is this the case for anyone else? Also I heard that some people who qualifies for financial aide may not get anything at all come the 2004-2005 school year because of the budget aftereffects. Is this true?

I end up paying a few extra hundred dollars out my pocket now.

i am getting more, yet it does not make up for the increase in tuition, so in effect, i am still paying more.
