California > *.State

Texas owns Cali. And that was literally the case back in the late 90s Cali energy crisis.

California is an exceptional state. I've lived here most of my entire life. It is a microcosm of the entire planet with plentiful representatives of every racial, economic, and political demographic you can think of. The weather is outstanding. There are earthquakes to be sure, but the big ones are rare (knock on wood); compare that with hurricanes and tornados that come every single year in other parts of the country. The state's college system is exceptional (there are actually two complete systems, the Cal State and the UC, with the latter being the best public college system in the world, bar none). The state is the foundation for the computer and entertainment industries. The housing is expensive, but if you can settle down in a good area, you are set for life. I would not want my children to be living anywhere else in the world. Finally, the women here are hot, in case you hadn't been paying attention.

@CPA

If you mean how the Texas based energy trading companies had a lustfull eye for California's budget surplus, conspired to steal it, bankrupt PG&E ruining thousands of Seniors retirement plans, and were caught on tape laughing about it, then yes, I suppose Texas did 'own' Cali in the late 90's.

And if you are proud of that then I guess you are where you belong, with all of the other lying, cheating, degenerate, sub-humans in your backward, racist, homophobic, wanna-be soverign, state.

If I am mistaken however, then just ignore this.
