Can we just agree you're both morons?

Anyone who says they have to close their Detroit office every time it rains is a moron.
Anyone who says Detroit freeways don't drain is a moron.

I have long admitted that I am a moron but I don't post stupid shit like that.

There is amazing overreaction to this storm in the Bay Area. All sorts of schools are closed, at least some of the federal offices, etc. BART is empty today, no rush hour traffic either. Just rain-related slowdowns.

I was there when it happened once. Going from downtown to Dearborn on the 94.
Thats what happens when your town goes broke and can't pay people to clear drainages from debris or patch the acres of potholes in the summer.

STFU.

There is a big difference between once and "everytime it rains".

Because I was only there for two weeks. And that was the only time I got stuck. We beat the storms home (or back to the hotel) two other times.

A week before me, one of the execs spent 2 hours getting back to Dearborn when it normally takes 21 minutes.

Even people that work and live there hate Detroit's lack of drainage, even in the streets.

STFU.

It's amusing watching people shit their pants here at the prospect of rain and some wind.

They cancelled schools and my husband's company encouraged people to work from home. :D

There is a difference between lack of drainage and not draining at all.

There is no way any company would close down their Detroit office "everytime it rains".

Seriously, are you autistic? (not being insulting). You are taking crap too literally...and then you lash out on others.

Then again, I'm not the one wishing for an entire to fall off.

So, why did you guys talk shit when I made fun of the "polar vortex bomb blast storm", but now you agree this "sky ocean" is equally ridiculous? You people make no sense.
There was no polar fucking bomb blast of epic destruction, and there is no raging torrent (RIVER) lurking in the SKIES above California either. All weather sensationalism is deserving of the death penalty. No one is reasonable anymore.

I'm taking you too literally? You said you closed your Detroit office every time it rains. That was your whole argument.

If you want to admit that you lied and you don't close the office every time it rains, then just admit it.

Detroit freeways don't drain. Built by morons. My employees don't build freeways.

Once again, STFU.

They don't?

Really?

Because I lived there, and drove on them, and they did.

Moron.

Here's an idea.

One of you two chuckleheads start a thread called "STFU Moron".

One of you posts "STFU".

The next one replies with "Moron".

And you do this like forever. Until infinity!

Epic.

So far it's a normal 'strong storm'. Windy and good amount of rain, no big deal yet. Two of my trash cans blew over.

But seriously, you all need the rain badly
