This may get appealed, and there's still the "morality clause" you have to get past (which itself sounds unconstitutional). Still, it's a strong step in the right direction.

This is huge. Literally did a happy.dance. Can only be appealed to.the.full 9th (unlikely) or SCOTUS, but it firmly struck down CA unconstitutional banning of both LOC and CCW.

Me too - I really have no desire to own a gun but the what if clause is always present. If given the opportunity, I'd mark this off as I best do it before the Govt takes my rights away.

I think it doesn't require "proof of character" or whatever to obtain the permit.

I like my revolver...but it's a bit bulky for a CCW.
