so it seems that ca community colleges fees will go from $11 to $18 per unit, as the fall semester have not started yet will they try to collect the addional fund or will this fee go in to affect for winter semester?

I don't think CC are state wide controlled.. they exist within school districts.. some have no plans to increase fees I am told.. but, I will defer because I've not first hand on this..

Heck, we pay about $55 per unit here for "in-district" tuition at the local CC. "Out-of-district" tuition is double and non-resident is triple the "in-district" rate.

Still though, that much of a jump is a substantial increase percentage-wise.
