Calibrating my new monitor

I'm about to recieve my new Dell 2005 FPW and I belive I remember some reviews I read
mentioning the importance of calibrating your monitor. I've never calibrated a monitor before and am unclear as to how to proceed any tips/ infprmation would be most helpful.

P.S. I hope I chose the correct place to post this thread.

i thought calibration in electronics only applied to wireless frequencies :shocked:

There are tools and software that allow you to do so.

It's kind of pricey if you do decide to go forward with it.

Yeah I've been to dry creek thank you I'd love to get that hardware but not to use just once. Thanks for the reply
