After track practice (which was mucho tiring btw), i stepped into my friends car. I guess my foot landed on the balls or something, because at the moment of impact, i felt my entire right calf muscle tighten up and LOCK TIGHT. So here i am, screa...(no, not screaming, i need a better verb...) in pain, clutching my locked calf muscle! About 3-4 mins later (or maybe it was just a minute, who knows, the pain lasted FOREVURR) it finally started to loosen up. Either way, my calf is still sore now and i am unable to walk around normally! HOW I HATE CALF CRAMPS! WHY DO THEY DO THAT?!

I got one for the first time the other day playing basketball! went up for a rebound and also landed like on the ball of my foot or something. $hit that hurt. I was sore for a couple days.

I attribute it to not having any food in my body. I went and played right after work not having really eaten anything in a 6-7 hour time span. I was also told by several people that bananas help if you cramp a lot. who knows. that's been my first and only one so far. I make sure to eat a snack and water now before I go do anything athletic.

That's what stretching BEFORE the exercise/event is for. I get no cramps after 60 minutes of hockey. Then again the next day.

my mom(a nurse) always said it was because you needed more calcium
I used to get those a lot, not only in my calf but in my toes and in the ball of my feet, the best thing to do is strech the musle, so when you get them in your calf just stick your leg straight out. It is a lot worse in your toe and ball of foot becaues you can't strech it
