Calendar Software for the Web?

I'm looking for a software (web-public/private) that will allow a Clan/Team to setup Matches and record who will be attending and so forth. Something like a public/private calendar than can be accessed from the web. Any Ideas?

Many bulletin board programs have a calendar function, youll need ASP or PhP server support tho.

I'm looking for something that will allow me to have people post who can make the event, who cant' and who will be in the event. I've seen the PHP one and understand it, but it's not what I'm looking for.

PhpNukem (think that's it) has one. Is anyone familiar with it?

Yahoo actually has a great free solution.

Register a free email address with them, and you can make a calender public (it has it's own url and everything) from within the account. Easy, breezy, and free (not to mention excellent)

Where do you plan to install the calendar?

Private Network?

Hosting service?

Private Network that is accessed from the Internet?

Each type of has a different solution.

Next step is to contact your hosting company and ask for info. You need to get from them the info about what can run on thier Web Appliances.

Some of Hosting service might even install for you a calendar appilication that is under Open Source and they keep handy for thier customers.

I was going to say you could always rig something with a webdav server and use sunbird, but man have I had a rough time issues setting up webdav w/ (any) webserver. It will be great once I get it running...
*** not a webserver guy at all
