Calendar program

Can anyone recommend a good calendaring solution for a small company? We don't want to use MS Exchange (too many requirements) but we don't mind spending money on the solution. Our servers are 99% BSD and Linux based however the desktops are 95% Windows based.

We would really like something that allows shared calendars and meeting requests.

Any recommendations?

I know sunbird allows for sharing calendars and schedules, although not sure if it's possible to send meeting requests to other people via sunbird...
