Calculus Question (parametric equations)

OK, I'm going over old quizzes here studying for my final. I got to a question that I got correct at the time, but I haven't the slightest idea how I got it now that I came back to look at it again. It looks like apretty simple problem, too.

Where the hell did I get (3t^2)/(2t) from? I have no idea how I came up with that, but it must have been fairly simple if I didn't need to do any work to get it.

deriv of y divided by deriv of x
 
grr, i cant remember the term.. but you take the t^3 and multiply by the power and subtract one from the power? 3t^2
And do the same for the x portion 2t^1 or 2t

Im not saying this is right, but it might be.
