I'm trying to find out the volume of some grease I'm buying. It comes as 40 pounds. Specific gravity is 2.7

I tried to find a formula but it has been like ten years since I've done any of this. Some one give me a formula or better yet an answer.

40 lbs is 18.2 kg.

Now water, which has a specific gravity of 1 would have a volume of 18.2 L for 18.2 kg. This is obviously denser, so the volume is divided by 2.7

18.2/2.7 = 6.74 L

unless I majorly screwed something up.
