You're playing the 6/49 huh?

(49*48*47*46*45*44)/(6*5*4*3*2) * $2 I do believe... so what's that? ~$25 mil?

So as long as the lotto jackpot is more than that, you're good to go... provided that no one else wins any of the money :)

Don't forget taxes, though you could write off the costs of the tickets...

canadian lotteries are tax free ;)

In the U.S they can't tax the lottery winnings enough. In the U.S they tax is 40% about and if you die they tax it another 40%.

Winning is also getting impossible. The Texas Lottery is currently 5 out of 54 numbers, plus an additional number out of a new set of 54 numbers. The jackpot has been as high as $100m. What about the ONE couple that won $170m on Mega-Millions. That's a LEAST $120m straight cash.

If they invested it ALL, they could live off $3,000,000 in interest a year. $3,000,000 a year for doing nothing!

You are not very good at math.

The Jackpot is not your lump payment.

Second if you have $100 mil.lion your investment banker is not going to let you put it in a 3%income return./
