Cal(21) 49 ASU(22) 21 Final

Only game yesterday between closely ranked teams, though Penn State is definitely making a good game out of their's w/OSU.

Anyway, your thoughts?

It's a blowout. I think the PSU-OSU game is more interesting.

28-7 isn't that bad.

They're ranked 21-22 after all... and ASU has shown that it can put up numbers quick (albeit against teams much worse than Cal)

You mean 42-14.

Oh wow...

I gotta hit "Refresh" more often 😱

You don't have to hit refresh with ESPN's Gamecast 😛.

Well, it was still 28-7 when I posted... I think our internets might be broken

Heh, that's what ASU gets for playing NAU, Nevada, and Colorado it's first 3 weeks. They were not prepared for Cal at all. I love seeing ASU get killed, me being an UofA fan 😀 - Though I don't like our chances against USC today...😛 - I'm going to all of UofA's home games this year so i'll be leaving in about an hour. Don't know why it's going to be shown on ABC.

yeah ... ive been following the penn state game, too. bummer.

3rd quarter of the cal/asu game wasnt all that great. cal lost the great momentum it had built up before the half.

OMG, how did the refs miss that call. OSU intercepts (the first one) and the ball was spiked before the player crossed the goal line.

Stick a fork in ASU now:

49-21, 8 minutes left.

No. 21 California wins 49 to 21 as the Golden Bears improve to 3-1 (1-0 Pac 10) for the season.

Nathan Longshore continues to look strong, going 18-26 for 264 yards and 4 TDs.

Cal plays Oregon State next week, while it doesn't get any easier for No. 22 Arizona State (3-1, 0-1) who will face No. 13 Oregon before heading to Southern California to meet the No. 3 Trojans.
