So even though I thought they were gross the 1st time I tried them, I now like boiled peanuts. However, I can't seem to find anyplace to by them in PA. I know I can mail-order them, but either the merchant's prices are ridiculous or shipping kills the deal. So...anyone have a favorite internet retailer and/or know of anywhere I can puchase boiled peanuts? I live in York, PA and can drive up to 100 miles or so if needed.

my grandfather would make those from the peanuts he grew in his garden....awesome

could you try making some? a lot of grocery stores will carry 'raw peanuts'. Then you need a big pot and some salt.

not sure about the cajun variety...probably a recipe somewhere online

Hmm boiled peanuts? Well it sounds odd but I'll try anything once, I can't help you with the information but thanks for a new food find that I could try sometime. I hope Market Basket has raw Peanuts; do you deshell them before boiling?
