So I was looking for a new case for my rig and I ran across this :

Caffeinated Soap

Tired of waking up and having to wait for your morning coffee to brew? Are you one of those groggy early morning types that just needs that extra kick? Know any programmers who don't regularly bathe and need some special motivation? Introducing Caffeinated Soap, the caffeinated soap from Xoxide...

Engraved with a glorious "C" for Caffeine, scented with peppermint oil and infused with caffeine anhydrous, each caffeine soap bar contains approximately 15 servings per bar with 250 milligrams of caffeine per serving. No, we're not kidding and no you don't eat it. The caffeinated soap is absorbed through the skin...

Warning: Not recomended for children, pregnant women or persons sensitive to caffeine.

Seriously people..you got to be kidding me ?

sounds like a bad idea... since caffeine is horrible for you...

but wtf... we down it like its going out of style...

and hey, at least its not nicotine soap!

You can't absorb caffeine through your skin.

Too bad, nifty idea if it worked.

What about tongue skin? Or the inside-of-your-mouth skin? Or throat skin? 😉

Up yo.. nevermind

You can't? Are you sure, or are you guessing?

I don't know the answer, but lots of things can be absorbed through the skin. If you have a source of your information, that would help.

Caffeine is pretty hydrophobic, iirc, so it can go through the skin. Text
Question is, does the caffeinated soap stay on your skin long enough to get it delivered.
