For $100k, I'd expect it to be titanium. Or better.Originally posted by: ElFenix
that's a hot car, except the part of the dash that looks like plastic painted to resemble aluminum.
if that actually is aluminum then my complaint will be withdrawn.

Probably fake woodgrain trim too.
Ooooh, 440hp on tap mated to an auto, nice.

Man if you got 100K whats another 50k I'd take a Ford GT over that any day. I know Cadillac wants to be ultra luxury but it doesn't suit them well. That is what Maybach, and Bentley is for.

Problem is, if you have that kind of money, would you really spend it on a XLR?
You'd be considering marques like Bentley, Aston Martin, Maserati, Ferrari, BMW and Mercedes Benz before even thinking about, Audi, Lexus, etc.
A 612. Conti GT, SL600/55AMG, or an Aston DB9 Vantage before considering a Caddy? Of course... they bring status with their labels that Caddy can't quite match.

With only $100,000 to spend on a car, Bentley and Ferrari are out of that list.

you buy the Z06 if you want a fast manual sports car.
you buy the XLR-V if you want a fast auto sports car.
anyways, the "enthusiasts" arent the public majority, there is a reason why there are more AUTO Corvettes sold than manuals.

Thats why you by an BMW M6. It has 60 more HP, cost 15-20K less, it's by far better looking, handles better..... I could go on.
Lets just be honest here...100K for a Caddy? Right.
