that's a hot car, except the part of the dash that looks like plastic painted to resemble aluminum.

if that actually is aluminum then my complaint will be withdrawn.

For $100k, I'd expect it to be titanium. Or better.

Cool car, but I don't think the price is right...

Man if you got 100K whats another 50k I'd take a Ford GT over that any day. I know Cadillac wants to be ultra luxury but it doesn't suit them well. That is what Maybach, and Bentley is for.

Ooooh, 440hp on tap mated to an auto, nice.

you buy the Z06 if you want a fast manual sports car.

you buy the XLR-V if you want a fast auto sports car.
anyways, the "enthusiasts" arent the public majority, there is a reason why there are more AUTO Corvettes sold than manuals.

I'd rather have a CTS-V, a Supercharged Solstice, and a well decked out Silverado for the same $$.

*shrugs*

Problem is, if you have that kind of money, would you really spend it on a XLR?

You'd be considering marques like Bentley, Aston Martin, Maserati, Ferrari, and Mercedes Benz before even thinking about BMW, Audi, Lexus, etc.

A 612. Conti GT, SL600/55AMG, or an Aston DB9 Vantage before considering a Caddy? Of course... they bring status with their labels that Caddy can't quite match.

It's a Caddy, though..still...I can think of a lot better ways to spend 100K (like the 760Li that I had Dinan modified). It cost a *little* more ;) than 100k when it was done, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth it.

wait what? do you even know Cadillac's history? in the 50's they were known as the "Standard of the World" no one had a car as nice as they did, they innovated, they moved the upper end market. then they fell hard. once again they want to be the standard of the world. if they released a vehicle that looked like the Sixteen Concept, which there are rumors they have plans of doing, and made the interior correctly they could again be way up there in the luxury market. they WANT to be back up there, and the Sixteen was very well taken in by autoshow crowds.

With only $100,000 to spend on a car, Bentley and Ferrari are out of that list.

If you are shopping for a supercar, you wouldn't save 70-80k for a mediocre one. I would go Ferrari or Lamboghini if I'm in the market for one. $100k is ridiculous for Caddy. Even if I do limit myself within $100k, I would go for Porsche.

Thats why you by an BMW M6. It has 60 more HP, cost 15-20K less, it's by far better looking, handles better..... I could go on.

Lets just be honest here...100K for a Caddy? Right.

A fast auto sport car is a joke to begin with. GM should be happy to sell this at 60-70k
