If you:

Dislike them
Only just like them
Would only give up one organ for them

This thread isn't for you. I want to see the hardcore creme egg fanatics here.

Where do you get them from? Any hot creme egg deals? Which one is your favorite?

I usually get mine from Walmart after Easter. I buy about $20 worth, which is about 80-100 eggs, depending on how good of a deal I can get. I like the regular ones best, but I wouldn't turn down the others.

Such a wonderful candy....

:)

I've got a dozen in my kitchen right now. I try and wait until the day after Easter, and hit the candy closeout sales after the stores close. I usually can buy up enough to last me through mid-July. Creme Eggs are the way to go... I don't really care for the chocolate or caramel at all. The creme is just so perfect, and the chocolate is high quality.

As far as hot deals go, try to buy the eggs in "flats". They sell them in sets of 18. I haven't found a set of 18 creme eggs yet this year. Instead they are packing 12 creme eggs w/ 3 caramel and 3 chocolate. I put my eggs in the freezer for storage for fear of them going bad for any reason.

I will say that the Cadburry mini-eggs aren't bad at all. The ratio of chocolate to creme is off, but the creme and chocolate are still excellent.

It's all about the buying in bulk after the holiday. Nothin like buying a pallet of eggs, freezin em, and having them to snack on year-round. :D

I'd say that the best financial stragegy would be to wait until *after* easter, then go around and find the best deal you can on leftovers, I can remember being able to get 4 packs for 25 cents after easter one time :Q

Lies propagated by the dental industry....

In all seriousness, it's probably mostly sodas and just having weak teeth. I don't really eat much candy, except this time of year. This is, however, the perfect time for me to get off of sodas for good. I can't drink them for a week anyway, I have loads of painkillers to ward off headaches, and I need to lose weight.

I will never give up the eggs though. ;)
