Yes. That's how birds in the desert survive. I dont know if it's actual cactus juice or just water though.

So the common story says that you can get water out of the barrel cactus.
The truth of this seems to be somewhat contested if you do a google.
#1 the plant is protected by law.
#2you must wring it from the flesh and the quality and quantity can vary quite a bit.
#3 others say it can be contaminated by various natural chemicals that can make you very sick or have hallucinigenic properties.

think i'll just fill my canteen.
