Cacheing System Bios and Video Ram

I just bought an Epox 8RDA+ nforce2 motherboard and the bios has the option to enable or disable the system bios and the video ram. The defaults are enabled for both. I remember reading somewhere that there was a reason one might want to disable these, but I can't remember the reason and can't find what I read. Any opinions on whether I should enable or disable these options?

Enabling them can cause instability. In some cases enabling may improve performance, but I haven't heard a strong enough argument for them to justify the trade-off.

disable these both, and anything that says "shadow" in it. basically it cache's this stuff in your precious L1 or L2 cache. not needed, and therefore wasteful on your cache.
