Does anyone know how I can enable wccp on 3750 so that it'll work w/ cisco cache engine?
Can't find anything on Google, except a page saying that it's not supported...

Is your 3750 SMI or EMI?

In the 3750 Q&A, it states the 3750 does not support wccp. In another document it mentions its supported in the EMI version. I'd test it for you, but I only have SMI's here ;x

The specific switch in question has SMI (now called IP-base), but we have plenty other that have EMI (AdvanceIPServices)
Will see if the command is available on that one.
thanks.

I checked our other 3750's that have Advance IP Services IOS and wccp isn't available on them either.
3750(config)#ip wccp

just got a hold of an 3750 EMI and I got the same thing.

Looks like the 3550 supports wccp (dont know why the 3750's wouldnt). Got any of those laying around? No core routers/switches like a 3600, 4500, 6500, 7500 that you could use?

We have several 6500 and 4500 here; the 3750 is for our remote sites.
So far we've been using a 3750 stack as the core switch, and a 2600 as the VLAN router for internal networks. The only reason we're using a 2600 for L3 is because netflow is not supported on 3750.
Lately we're seeing some sites taking performance hit due to the 2600 hardware limitation, and would like to use the 3750 to route L3 traffic, but I need to make sure the 3750 can work w/ the cache engine...
