--General Cable Discussion--
I have a set of Van Den Hul D-300 cables with Genuine Tiffany Connectors. I know these cables are highly desirable to audiophiles and the connectors are highly coveted. I am considering selling them (to pay bills) but want to get some opinions first.
Thin little cables you get with a new vcr don't sound as nice as something you pay a small premium for but believed most premium cables were all the same till I was given a pair of these as a gift. With a little hesitation, I tried them and my DVD-A and SACD's sounded much clearer, crisper, and louder than the Monster Cables I picked up on clearance at Radio Shack.
I've seen similar sets Van Den Hul cables have sold for more than $200 on ebay and cables with Tiffany Connectors often have an asking price of thousands.
What Is this too much to ask for them? Should I keep them? I know they are semi-rare and hard to find, gems.
