cable vs DSS?

Hey everyone,

I am thinking about whether I should get cable or DSS? Which would you recommend? Many tell me to get DSS.. and that there is better quality, more channels, more promtions these days, etc.

I am in Northern CA.. so I'm not sure yet.. what would you guys recommend? Also, are there any sites out there that review the hardware and company providers? Also, how about those cards, can those be programmed, etc. ? Any sites out there with this type of info?
