Wow all the ppl coming home from college have really slowed my area down, I search for my zip code and I'm now the fastest. I used to get like 56XX and there were a couple of ppl beating me

holy crap richie!! shoot, 95 TIMES FASTER THAN A 56K!!!!??? that's insane. i wish i had something like that. i'm stuck at a cruddy 256kbytes, which is like 4x faster than a 56k.

i get about 1400down/1000up from dslreports on my cable (@Home in MD) on it's best... during peak hours, that has been as low as 200 down and 400 up (heh, funny how my downstream was slower than up).

I get really high scores from this place. Like 4-5 mb/s on cox@home. I'm usually between 2-3.

Holy Crap I just tested using this and i got 2462.1 kilobits / sec g0ddamn!(down)

And 169.5 kilobits / sec (up)


Thats a good test!

I am on cable and am faster than a T1!

I dont think that site is very accurate. I got a 2245K on a cable modem. I have had my cable modem for over a year and the highest I have ever had was 1.5 = T1. I also ran alot of the other above bandwidith test and averaged 1000K.

Same here on the upload speeds. I would atleast like 250K upload speeds.
