Cable Splitter?

I currently have one tv in my room connected to one cable port. Would it be possible to get a cable splitter (do they exist) and run a line to my TV and run one to my computer and hook it up to the TV card on the computer? I assume if it worked the TV and comp would have to be watching the same channels at the same time.

They sure do exist and it does work, have my TV and tuner card set up like that right now, and you can watch different channels on each. Look around Best Buy or Circuit City (video department) and you'll find the splitter and necessary cables.

Don't cheap out on the splitter though. Get a 1000mhz or higher model. The models below that are worthless.

definately. I got a 1ghz and it works fine. You don't need anything higher.
